Senior Manager, FPC Monitoring & Learning Forests, People, Climate

Ksenia leads the coordination of monitoring and learning (M&L) systems for Forests, People, Climate (FPC) collaborative. In this role, she works across FPC and with external partners to develop frameworks that track progress toward FPC’s ambitious goals while supporting collective learning that advances equitable and enduring solutions for tropical forests and the communities stewarding them.

Prior to joining CLUA, Ksenia served as Project Manager and Deputy Project Director at Mathematica, where she managed research teams and designed MEL frameworks for leading philanthropies including Gates, Rockefeller, ClimateWorks, and Packard. Her work focused on establishing and managing impact measurement functions that balanced rigor with adaptive learning approaches aiming to center the knowledge and priorities of Iocal partners and communities. 

Earlier in her career, she held management and strategy roles across mission-driven organizations, from local nonprofits focused on refugee services to political rights work supporting activists facing political persecution, bringing expertise in management, strategy development, and navigating complex international political environments.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy with a focus on conflict resolution and mediation, and a Bachelor’s degree in African and Asian Studies. She is based in San Francisco, USA.
