Renata Senlle
Strategic Communications Manager, Brazil Climate and Land Use Alliance
Renata Senlle is a journalist with over 20 years of experience in strategic communication and social impact initiatives.
As Strategic Communications Manager, she joined CLUA in 2020 and leads the Digital Influencer area. She focuses on fostering collaboration among philanthropic donors, community-based organizations and grassroots organizations to reach civil society about the urgency of mitigating the climate crisis and supporting Indigenous and traditional communities.
With extensive experience and understanding of the media landscape, she has conducted several projects (capacity-building programs, research, campaigns, etc.) in different fields to mobilize civil society and other stakeholders through communications strategies. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo and is currently a PhD student in Feminist Studies at Coimbra University.
Renata truly believes in the value of strategic comms and story placement to foster the cultural tipping point that will lead us towards mitigating climate crises and speeding social justice and gender equity.
