Lorena Ardila
Senior Administrative Coordinator Climate and Land Use Alliance
Lorena is based in Bogotá, Colombia, and serves as the Senior Administrative Coordinator for the Strategic Communications Initiative at CLUA. She brings over 12 years of experience in administrative, financial, and operational management across both national and international organizations, with a strong interest in issues related to climate justice and biodiversity protection.
Prior to joining CLUA, Lorena worked at the Ford Foundation as Acting Grants Officer and Program Assistant. She supported the Peace and Polarization Initiative, as well as the Natural Resources and Climate Justice portfolio, and provided technical and administrative assistance to grantees and internal teams across the Andean Region (Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela) as well as at the global level.
Lorena holds a Bachelor of Arts-BA in Graphic Design, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Externado University of Colombia. In 2022, she was awarded a scholarship from Harvard University to participate in a seminar on Advances in Management and Administration Research.
