Julia is responsible for bringing together civil society organizations and philanthropic grant makers to promote forests as a key solution to the climate crisis.

She graduated in Journalism & Social Communication. She worked in newsrooms for almost a decade before taking on leadership roles in environmental NGOs in Brazil and globally. She led international campaigns on forests, energy, and oceans before joining CLUA as a team lead for global strategic communications.
