Meet Our Teams

Irene is a communications strategist with a background in Film, TV, and New Media. With over two decades of experience, she has held roles such as Video Director at Semana Group, one of Latin America’s largest media outlets. Her work has been selected by international festivals like SXSW (USA), FICCI (Colombia), and Red Sea (Saudi Arabia). Irene is also a fellow of the Sundance Institute Interdisciplinary Program and a recipient of the New Media Fund (Proimágenes-Canada Media Fund), among other awards.

Irene has worked across international cooperation, academia, and civil society, contributing to initiatives focused on human rights, peacebuilding, forests and oceans conservation. She is particularly interested in the intersection of media, technology, and communities.
