Edilaine de Abreu

With over 27 years of experience, Edilaine is an expert in strategic communication, partnership development, initiative leadership, and the management of people, programs, and projects focused on environmental conservation, climate, the rights of traditional communities, and impactful philanthropy.
At CLUA, she leads strategic communications in Brazil. Previously, Edilaine worked with global organizations, like the Impact Hub Network, where she was responsible for global communications, including research and campaigns supporting social and environmental organizations, while also contributing to fundraising. At Edelman, she developed communication strategies for major brands, overseeing initiatives in corporate social responsibility, crisis management, and more for both local and international organizations, while also driving the agency’s business growth. Additionally, at the philanthropic organization Instituto Semeia, Edilaine led strategic communication efforts and spearheaded stakeholder engagement, working with governments, businesses, and civil society on projects focused on the sustainable management and conservation of parks and protected areas.
Edilaine holds a degree in Journalism from Fundação Cásper Líbero and a postgraduate degree in social innovation management from Amani Institute. She is specialized in engagement from Westminster Academy in London and trained in facilitation through the Art of Hosting method. She also completed an MBA in sustainability project management at FGV-SP.
